Job Title: Core .NET Solution Architect
Location: Fort Myers FL
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Core .NET Solution Architect with strong design and development expertise in .NET technologies, along with hands-on experience in MongoDB and AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end architecture and design efforts, working across teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect enterprise-grade solutions using Core .NET technologies.
Define technical architecture and lead implementation for high-performance backend systems.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and scalable applications.
Design and integrate MongoDB as the primary database for data-driven systems.
Provide guidance on AWS deployment best practices, infrastructure planning, and cloud-native development.
Lead code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor development teams on technology direction.
Ensure architecture compliance with enterprise standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core application architecture and development.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with MongoDB database design, performance tuning, and integration.
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
Experience in RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive technical discussions.
Nice to Have:
Practical experience deploying applications in AWS environments (CI/CD, Docker, CloudFormation or Terraform).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline).
Experience with other databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a strong plus.
