Title : Workday HR Techno Functional Analyst 
Location : remote
Duration : 6-12months 

The as a HR Techno-Functional Analyst is a key role to develop and execute IT Strategies for Human Resources globally within our Workday HR system The Senior HR Techno-Functional Analyst has responsibility for functional requirements, design, and detailed configuration across multiple Workday modules, including Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Talent, Performance Management, Recruiting, Security, Reporting, BIRT and Integrations, etc. The Senior HR Techno-Functional Analyst is responsible for configuring and testing new features and functionality, resolve problems and issues, and implement incremental updates within the Workday system. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
 
REPORTING LINES
This role reports directly to Director – Digital & Shared Services.
 
In particular you can expect to:
•     Maintenance and creation of Supervisory Organizations, Custom Orgs, Locations, Positions, Cost Centre’s, Cost Centre Hierarchies, Job Profiles, Job Family Groups and Security Groups.
•     Analyse, design and build new custom reports using standard Workday reporting functionality (ex: Report Writer, Calculated Fields) based on business requirements.
•     Global Configuration by country specific requirements of Performance Management processes that includes Annual and quarterly Performance evaluation processes.
•     Advanced Compensation configuration for annual bonus and merit recommendations
•     Ability to document the report function and design to facilitate maintenance.
•     Participate in report reviews and maintenance of existing reports, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards follow best practice.
•     Create, edit, and remove organization security roles for the system and provide support for issues relating to User Based Securities in Workday
•     Maintain assignment for User Based Security roles to Employees and/or Positions.
•     Experience in Production support, Issues resolution and end-user training, developing applications using XML, XSLT, Xpath, WSDL and SOAP.
•     Worked on XML and XSLT outputs of integrations to solve simple issues.
•     Implemented Data migration using EIB and built inbound and outbound integrations in Workday using Web services like XML, XSLT.
•     Utilize Workday EIBs, loading mass data and knowing what options to use to load historical data from other systems.
•     Involved in day-to-day Production support and incident tickets. Investigate user/business related issues to identify and provide solutions to the root cause.
•     Troubleshoot long running reports and working on improving performances.
•     Worked on Workday Inbound and Outbound integrations with other internal and external systems as per the design specifications and Requirements using EIB’s and Core Connector’s.
•     Extending and maintaining Workday functionality to meet stated and anticipated business needs.
•     Test, validate and implement Business Process changes in Workday to align with the company’s structure and approval processes driven by roles.
•     Provide input to HCM Systems Manager, Workday Team Members.
•     Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen.
•     Evaluate Workday updates/releases and coordinate testing activities with the team.
•     Have the opportunity to be a part of the team that implements Workday’s Expense module.
 
You will have the opportunity to:
•     Opportunity to be trained as an LMS administrator.
o     Responsible for course creation and updates in SABA.
o     Running ad-hoc reports in SABA.
o     Assisting with the creation of corporate surveys.
 
To be successful, you will need:
•     10+ years with strong technical and functional experience in hands on application administration and configuration of Workday or other comparable applications
•     Workday HCM, Reporting and Integrations experience
•     Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
•     Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with HR and IT clients.
•     Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation.
•     Strong attention to detail.
•     Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
•     Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
•     Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
 
Preferred Experiential Background:
•     Workday experience in the areas of Advanced Compensation, Performance and Talent Management, Recruiting, Reporting, Security, and Integration Management preferred.
•     HR functional experience preferred.
•     Experience in a fast-paced, corporate, SaaS, ERP based environment.
•     Experience supporting integrations between SaaS applications/ERP and other business systems.
