Locations: NYC / NJ / Pittsburgh, PA / Lake Mary, FL (3–4 days onsite)

Role Overview
Seeking experienced Senior Java Consultants / Java Architects with strong hands-on development expertise. This role involves designing and developing scalable Java-based applications while actively contributing to coding and system architecture. The position requires deep backend expertise along with exposure to frontend technologies for full-stack collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Define architecture and overall design of Java-based systems aligned with business objectives.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+.
Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot (3.3.x).
Implement data persistence using JPA with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Develop and support UI components using Angular (17+) for seamless integration.
Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and messaging systems (MQ).
Containerize applications using Docker for cloud-native deployments.
Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure end-to-end functionality.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
Participate in CI/CD pipelines and use Git for version control.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and enforce architectural standards.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and backend development
Expertise in Spring Boot (3.3.x) and microservices architecture
Solid experience with JPA and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
Hands-on experience with Angular (17+ / 18+ / latest TypeScript versions)
Experience with Kafka / MQ for real-time event-driven systems
Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments
Strong understanding of REST API design and integration
Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enterprise-level application architecture
Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills
Prior experience in financial services environments is a plus
