Title: QA Engineer Lead

This position will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will be based just outside of Tampa Bay in New Port Richey, FL. Local candidates are preferred and may work a hybrid schedule.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:

Leadership and Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Allocate resources, define team goals, and monitor performance metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes into the development pipeline.
Quality Assurance Strategy
Define and implement QA strategies, policies, and best practices to ensure product reliability.
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Oversee functional, performance, security, and regression testing activities.
Automation and Tools
Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Identify, implement, and manage QA tools to streamline testing efforts.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback.
Testing and Process Optimization
Independently conduct device testing and validate features for production deployments.
Collaborate on device integration testing with team members.
Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency and product reliability.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Monitor, track, and promptly resolve QA issues and bugs.
Provide regular updates on QA progress, risks, and product quality to leadership.
Stay current with industry trends and integrate innovative QA methodologies.
