Job title: Oracle SQL Functional Consultant
Location: OMAHA, NB
Hire Type: contract
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Develop and write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and reports for data extraction and analysis.
Work closely with business users to map functional requirements to Oracle ERP solutions.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and test system enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
Conduct system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
Assist with system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across integrated systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in a functional consultant or business analyst role with Oracle ERP systems.
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL / PL-SQL.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, or OTBI.
Knowledge of Oracle Workflow and personalization/customization techniques.
Understanding of integrations using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware platforms.
Oracle certifications are a plus.
