Business Analyst | Jackson, MS | 3-Year Contract | Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a long-term onsite project in Jackson, MS. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for users experiencing help desk-related issues, analyze business and technical requirements, manage support tickets, and work closely with business and IT teams to ensure smooth system operations. The role involves troubleshooting software issues, documenting incidents in JIRA, performing manual data corrections when needed, supporting UAT, conducting root cause analysis, and providing clear communication to stakeholders. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with automated systems for determining SNAP, TANF, or E&T benefits. Experience with JIRA, Windows applications, and strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills are required. Experience in State Government or Human Services environments and CBAP certification are preferred.
