Manufacturing Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or production Engg.
Job Responsibilities:
Work with current products to create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings that will be used on the production floor.
Look at (semi) automatic ways to create piping drawings, drawing templates for current products
Use the SolidWorks PDD system (Vault) and automate the BoM export that is readable by the ERP system.
Address questions related to engineering drawings for the production floor.
Engineering Change Releases for permanent problem resolution
more of a SolidWorks expert who is familiar with SW. There will be less of project management for this role and more of being on the floor, understanding the day-to-day issues and helping address in the design process.
Experience:
6-8 years’ experience with at least 4 years in manufacturing shop.
Hands on experience in SolidWorks 3D modeling and 2D manufacturing drawing creation
Experience in piping modeling and drawing creation
Experience in ECN/ECR process is an added advantage
Exp. In working in Solidworks PDM (vault) will be added advantage
Good verbal and written communication in English is must
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems in the air conditioning and heating manufacturing domain. This role involves ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and improving overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Design and Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Equipment Management: Design, select, and install manufacturing equipment. Ensure equipment is maintained and operational, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance as needed.
Quality Control: Evaluate quality control processes and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Production Planning: Plan and design new production processes. Manage labor and materials to meet production targets and deadlines.
