Job Title:  Manual Tester 
Type : Contract (C2C )
Location: San Diego CA

Requires Skills:
Experience in manual software testing, including test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
Experience with standard software test/QA methodologies (functional, integration, regression testing, etc.)
Basic understanding of the Linux operation system
Experience with applications interacting with hardware (motion control, fluidics, imaging, etc) or a strong interest in learning these domains
Comfortable working with version control systems (e.g. Git) and project management tools (e.g. JIRA)
Ability to systematically diagnose issues in a complex hardware-software environment
Capable of reviewing logs to analyze system behavior, and reproducing defects under varying conditions
Strong written and verbal communication skills to document test results and communicate defects effectively
Ability to work closely with developers, hardware engineers, and other stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Optional Skills
Experience with test automation is a plus
Understanding of data processing and Python is helpful but not required
Exposure to testing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET or OpenAPI is advantageous

Team and Collaboration
Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to design, implement, and test hardware-integrated software solutions that meet project requirements
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team retrospectives to improve collaboration and deliverables
