Title: SAP Data Migration – 6+ Months Contract

Location: Remote 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with a strong background in data quality management to support end-to-end data migration activities in SAP implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and validating data migrations across various SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, PP, HCM) while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead or support the end-to-end data migration process in SAP projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or S/4HANA migrations)

·        Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand legacy data sources and target SAP data structures

·        Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, transformation, and enrichment to ensure high-quality migrated data

·        Design and develop data migration strategies and plans aligned with business needs and project timelines

·        Utilize tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), SAP Information Steward, LTMC, LSMW, or Migration Cockpit

·        Establish and enforce data quality rules and standards

·        Work closely with business SMEs to resolve data issues, duplicates, inconsistencies, and gaps

·        Create test cases and validate migrated data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance

·        Prepare documentation including migration mapping specifications, data load plans, data quality reports, and status updates

Required Skills & Experience:

·        8+ years of experience in SAP data migration and data quality projects

·        Strong hands-on experience with SAP BODS, SAP Information Steward, LTMC, LSMW, or equivalent tools

·        Deep understanding of SAP master and transactional data across modules (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, BOM)

·        Experience in building data quality rules, data profiling, cleansing strategies, and exception handling

·        Proficient in SQL and data transformation logic

·        Good knowledge of data governance practices and frameworks

·        Strong problem-solving and communication skills

·        Experience with S/4HANA or SAP Central Finance migration is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

·        SAP certifications in Data Services or related modules (preferred)

·        Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery models
