Duties:
The IT Sox Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations as it relates to IT general and relevant IT application controls.
Interfacing with relevant technology teams, Internal Audit, and the external auditor to define the appropriate scope of SOX IT testing Development and management of IT SOX testing schedule, ensuring on time delivery of testing evidence and other key deliverables Collaborating with various technology teams to clearly articulate IT control evidence requirements and ensuring the evidence provided is clear and appropriate to meet the needs of the external auditor.
Maintenance and ongoing updates of a Risk and Control matrix (RCM).
Assess potential risks and control gaps based on an understanding of the control environment and to limit the identification of control deficiencies.
