Job Title: Senior Lead Cognos BI consultant

Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract

Summary:

Pir client seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cognos BI hands-on Lead consultant from a financial and banking background to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing and implementing Cognos BI solutions on AWS and Rector React.

The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of IBM Cognos 12, expertise in AWS cloud services, hands-on experience integrating Cognos Analytics into Rector React applications, and a proven track record of success in leading and guiding teams of developers.

Responsibilities:

•              Design, develop, and implement Cognos BI solutions on AWS and Rector React

•              Integrate Cognos content seamlessly into Rector React applications

•              Enable users to access and interact with Cognos reports and visualizations directly within the React application

•              Conduct thorough security reviews of all Cognos BI solutions

•              Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the team of Cognos BI developers

•              Troubleshoot and resolve Cognos BI issues

•              Provide technical support to Cognos BI users

•              Stay up to date on the latest Cognos BI features and technologies

Qualifications:

•              Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

•              5+ years of experience developing and implementing Cognos BI solutions

•              Good knowledge/ experience in IBM Cognos 12

•              Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

•              Solid understanding of Rector React development

•              Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

•              Strong communication and collaboration skills

•              Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers
