Role: Sr. BI Developer

Location: Washington DC 20006 – Hybrid Work Schedule – 1 day Week Onsite

Need local or 50 miles from client location

Long term contract

 

Work Experience-

A minimum 7 years’ hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI and MicroStrategy). Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling, stored procedure, functions, and other database operations. Working knowledge of relational models and dimensional data warehouse design.

 

Technical Skills

A minimum 7 years’ hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI and MicroStrategy). 
Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling, stored procedure, functions, and other database operations. Working knowledge of relational models and dimensional data warehouse design. 
A proven track record of interacting with business partners to understand scope/goals, and the ability to translate that into successful data products/deliverables. 
Strong analytical skills, initiative, and ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks and technologies. 
Ability to work within a team environment and independently develop, test, and debug applications on Windows platforms. 
Applications development with Power BI/MicroStrategy and SQL/Microsoft SQL Server.
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and organization skills. 
Ability to translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.
