Title –Data Analyst

Data analysts experience with (FIS Core Banking or Jack Henry)
Must have experience with writing business rules for a data conversion initiative.
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with deep knowledge of FIS Core Banking or Jack Henry systems,
who can contribute to a data conversion initiative by writing and validating business rules and ensuring successful data migration.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, completeness, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, interpret, and document business rules and data mapping requirements for core banking data conversions.
Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Translate banking domain knowledge into data requirements, mapping rules, and validation logic.
Work with FIS Core Banking or Jack Henry SilverLake/20/20 platforms to extract and map core banking data.
Validate migrated data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with business expectations.
Document data lineage, business logic, transformation rules, and exception handling processes.
Participate in test planning, including test case development, UAT support, and issue tracking/resolution.
Support data quality assessments and contribute to the overall data governance strategy.
Required Skills:
8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
Mandatory experience with either FIS Core Banking or Jack Henry systems.
Proven experience working on data conversion/data migration initiatives in the banking or financial services domain.
Strong experience in writing, analyzing, and documenting business rules and data transformation logic.
Familiarity with core banking modules such as deposits, loans, payments, customer accounts, etc.
Ability to analyze data using tools like SQL, Excel, or BI tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in legacy system decommissioning or banking system modernization projects.
Exposure to ETL tools and data validation frameworks is a plus.
Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in banking (e.g., FFIEC, SOX, GDPR).
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
