Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Alation Analytics & Power BI Developer with strong SQL skills to design, develop, and optimize data analytics and visualization solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making by leveraging Alation, Power BI, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize data models using Alation Analytics and Power BI.
Design and implement interactive dashboards & reports tailored to business requirements.
Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
Ensure data governance and metadata management within Alation.
Collaborate with business teams to identify KPIs and reporting needs.
Automate data workflows for efficient data processing and analytics.
Perform data validation and troubleshooting to maintain accuracy and integrity.
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and IT teams to optimize solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and Alation-Power BI integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Expertise in Alation Analytics for data cataloging and governance.
Strong Power BI skills, including DAX, Power Query, and advanced visualizations.
Proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing complex queries, optimization, and database management.
Experience with ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI architecture.
Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and enterprise reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
Familiarity with AI-driven analytics and business intelligence tools.
