Position: Senior Java Developer (REST Assured – Automation Testing)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong experience in REST Assured Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building and testing RESTful APIs, developing automation frameworks, and working in an Agile environment.
This role requires a strong understanding of Java development, along with API automation testing best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
9+ years of experience in Java development
Strong hands-on experience with REST Assured Automation Testing
Experience in API testing and automation frameworks
Solid understanding of RESTful Web Services
Experience with JUnit / TestNG
Knowledge of Maven or Gradle
Experience with Git / Version Control
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
Knowledge of Spring Boot
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
Develop and maintain API automation test frameworks using REST Assured
Execute test cases and analyze results
Collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams
Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve application and testing issues
