Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Software Developer with strong hands-on experience designing, developing, configuring, and supporting cloud platforms, solutions, and integrations. The role involves working across Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based application environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience building and supporting medium-to-large-scale cloud solutions, troubleshooting production environments, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with architects, end users, security teams, and managed service providers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud & Kubernetes Development – 40%

Design, build, configure, and test cloud platforms, solutions, and integrations using Microsoft Azure.
Configure and manage Kubernetes clusters and develop scripts to deploy Docker containers through DevOps tools.
Support Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) environments and onboard applications/projects.
Understand application interfaces, load balancing, database requirements, and infrastructure dependencies.
Configure Kubernetes environments to support high availability, failover, and zero-downtime production workloads.
Develop scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure solutions.
Build prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and reference architectures/models.
Work with Docker, Docker Registry, GitLab/GitHub, and DevOps tools.
2. Capacity, Security & Platform Support – 30%

Monitor infrastructure capacity and proactively recommend improvements or expansions.
Work with end users and IT teams to gather infrastructure requirements.
Support cloud platform upgrades and technology changes.
Collaborate with Security teams to develop secure and resilient solutions.
Troubleshoot performance and infrastructure issues and perform root cause analysis.
Provide operational and production support as required.
3. Planning, Communication & Operations – 20%

Assist with project plans, schedules, and technical deliverables.
Track project progress and communicate status, issues, and risks.
Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and managed service providers.
Support resolution of production issues and operational challenges.
Maintain appropriate technical documentation and support processes.
4. Collaboration & Relationship Management – 10%

Build strong relationships with business partners, technical teams, and management.
Collaborate with regional teams to develop scalable cloud solutions.
Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment.
