Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester with 3–5 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, and validation of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual and/or automation testing, strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, and the ability to work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
Create, review, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar
Validate APIs, backend data, and front-end application behavior
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Support automation testing efforts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve defects and improve product quality
Ensure testing coverage aligns with business and technical requirements
Required Skills
3–5 years of experience in QA Testing / Software Testing
Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and QA methodologies
Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps
Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools
Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is preferred
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Enterprise Applications
Exposure to test automation frameworks
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps testing processes
Understanding of performance and security testing concepts
ISTQB certification is a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred
