Duration: 6-12 Months

Role Summary: Data Center Operations Engineer

We are seeking hands-on Data Center Operations Engineers to drive on-site deployment, maintenance, and hardware troubleshooting across our Los Angeles data center sites.

Working directly on the floor within dense AI inference environments, you will execute rack-and-stack deployments, optical cabling, and component-level diagnostics for GPU nodes, high-throughput storage, and spine-leaf network switches.

This role is central to keeping our accelerator infrastructure online, executing rapid hardware triage, break-fix operations, and RMA turnarounds while strictly adhering to established site runbooks and deployment schedules.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience in enterprise data center, colocation, or hyperscale cloud environments supporting high-density compute hardware.
You possess demonstrable troubleshooting skills across bare-metal Linux environments, server architectures, GPU/accelerator boards, power supplies, memory, and high-speed optics (400G/800G DACs, transceivers, and fiber).
Key responsibilities include maintaining pristine inventory accuracy for field-replaceable units (FRUs), coordinating parts staging, managing remote-hands engagements, and executing firmware updates and hardware commissioning tests.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills, familiarity with out-of-band management (IPMI/BMC), and the ability to operate effectively within structured escalation and ticketing workflows are essential.
