Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and scale robust data ingestion and processing pipelines using Lambda, API Gateway and AWS Glue.
Architecture & Infrastructure:Provision and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation.
Data Management & Governance:Design and implement data storage/retrieval solutions leveraging DynamoDB and build compliant data governance frameworks via Lake Formation.
Security: Implement strict access control, masking, and least-privilege security policies using AWS IAM.
Troubleshooting:Independently analyze, debug, and resolve data pipeline or infrastructure issues with high autonomy and quick problem-solving skills.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, acting as a supportive team member who effectively communicates technical roadblocks and solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Languages: Strong programming proficiency in Python or Golang.
AWS Compute & API: Deep hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
Data Engineering & Governance:Advanced knowledge of AWS Glue, IAM, and Lake Formation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven track record building and updatingCloudFormation templates.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, a proactive “hands-on” attitude, strong analytical problem-solving, and the ability to troubleshoot independently with minimal support.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Cloud Services:Familiarity with AWS Step Functions, S3 lifecycle policies, and Amazon CloudWatch.
Data Warehousing: Prior experience working with Amazon Redshift or Athena is a plus.
AWS API integration
Role Overview
We are looking for an AWS API Integration Engineer with strong expertise in integrating applications, services, and third-party systems using AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and managing APIs, along with designing scalable integration solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop API integrations between internal systems and external services
Build and manage APIs using AWS API Gateway and AWS Lambda
Develop scalable integration solutions using serverless architecture
Integrate with third-party APIs (REST/SOAP) and enterprise systems
Implement messaging-based integrations using SQS, SNS, EventBridge
Handle data transformation and orchestration across systems
Ensure API security using IAM, Cognito, OAuth2, JWT
Monitor integrations using CloudWatch and X-Ray
Troubleshoot API failures, latency issues, and system bottlenecks
Collaborate with DevOps, backend, and business teams
Required Skills
Strong experience with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS)
Hands-on experience in API Integration (REST/SOAP, JSON/XML)
Strong programming skills in Python / Node.js / Java
Experience with Microservices & Serverless Architecture
Knowledge of middleware/integration patterns
Experience with authentication & authorization mechanisms
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline)
Preferred Skills
Experience with integration tools like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Apache Camel
Knowledge of Kafka or Kinesis for streaming integrations
Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation
Exposure to Banking / Financial services integrations
AWS Certification is a plus
