Job Title: Azure Cloud Ops Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC and Phoenix, AZ (5 days onsite)

Pay Rate $60/hr

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in DevOps skilled in Git Ansible Kubernetes ARM and PowerShell to manage and optimize Azure based infrastructure and CICD pipelines

Job Description

Design implement and maintain infrastructure as code using ARM templates and Ansible.
Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes across Azure environments.
Develop and maintain CICD pipelines leveraging Git and Azure DevOps practices.
Automate deployment and configuration tasks using PowerShell scripting.
Ensure high availability scalability and security of cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate DevOps practices into software development lifecycle.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues.
Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and Azure services to continuously improve deployment processes.
 

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of Azure DevOps solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Manage source control using Git including branching merging and release management.
Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and scaling.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with ARM templates and Ansible.
Develop PowerShell scripts to streamline operational tasks and enhance automation.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish best practices for CICD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment infrastructure and automation tools.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on DevOps methodologies and Azure services.
