Role: Sr. Database Administrator

Location: Washington, D.C (Onsite)

MUST:
Experienced Database Administrator
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
5+ recent years of experience with DBA/engineering
5+ recent years of experience writing technical documentation to include: (System Design Changes, Requirements Documentation, Version Documentation, Assessments and or White Papers)
4 years of experience with Exadata
4 years of experience with OID (Oracle Internet Directory)
4 years of experience with OIM (Oracle Identity Manager)
Installing, configuring and maintaining web applications in an enterprise RedHat environment
Upgrading applications to current version and migrating and/or re-designing the data models
Certification: Security+ required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

DUTIES:

Respond to Tier-3 and 4 service tickets and special projects with senior level engineering
Configure Oracle applications and databases to include Oracle Application Servers (WebLogic), Applications (OIM), Databases (Oracle Database 12c/19c), Exadata
Perform the development of new or existing software architectural plans and designs
Create/Update Automated System Health Checks for daily, weekly and monthly status
Support System backup and recovery Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Data Center Disaster Recovery (DCDR) exercises and activities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge for both tools and operating systems as new versions are approved for use.
