Technology Specialist 
Job Summary: We are seeking a Technology Specialist with a strong hands-on engineering
background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building
systems, platforms, and parsers, as well as extracting and manipulating data. Knowledge and
experience with Splunk is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
∙Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex systems and
platforms.

 

∙Develop parsers and tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and
develop solutions.

∙Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and other team
members.
∙Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related and security-related issues.
∙Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture, Snowflake
technologies, and cybersecurity.
∙Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of technology solutions.
∙Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends.
∙Act as a technical advisor and mini CTO, contributing to strategic planning and
decision-making.

 

∙Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
∙Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance
productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
∙Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
∙15+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, and
engineering.
∙Proven experience in building robust systems and platforms from the ground up.

 

 
∙Strong hands-on experience with data parsing, ETL processes, and data manipulation.
∙Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
∙Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
∙Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker,
Kubernetes).

 

∙Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
∙Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∙Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
∙Experience with Splunk for data analysis, monitoring, and visualization.
∙Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
∙Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
∙Experience in a leadership or technical advisory role.
