Job Description:

The candidate will oversee a Structured Lending portfolio of $20bn from a Middle Office and Service aspect. The Middle Office encompasses all aspects related to loan booking. The role will supervise Servicing aspects covering ongoing client servicing aspects post close. This role covers all Structured lending to include, Commercial Real Estate, Lombard, Fine Art, Aircraft, Insurance Premium Financing and bespoke Structured loans offered as part of the International Private Bank Lending offering. As part of the COO organization, this Supervisory role will act as the final gatekeeper to ensure that loan transactions adhere to credit policies and approvals, review loan documentation, handle fundings, repayments, and general servicing inquiries from Bankers, Lenders and Clients. This Structured Lending MO Manager will lead a team Service Officers and aligned Loan Operation teams. The candidate will be part of the overall IPB Lending COO management.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage team that oversee loan onboarding and loan serving functions for all Structured Lending products including Subscription finance lending.

Manage all interactions with Loan Operation teams that support IPB Structured lending.

Supervise loan funding, payments and re-pricings on loan system

Be point of escalation on full range of client servicing matters

Follow-up with clients and loan officers for missing documentation, interest payments and collateral deficiencies

Manage daily transaction activity on pledged items, review account assets, approve / reject transactions

Interact with Bankers, Investment Advisors and Custody officers on collateral issues, loan increases, late payments

Manage loan payments and loan pay-offs

Manage special projects and Audit/regulatory requests

Job Requirements

At least 10-15 yrs of relevant experience in Lending, Banking or Finance.

Strong leader with managerial experience working in a boutique Wealth Lending environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities/demands in a high paced environment

Working knowledge of Loan IQ is preferred

Leader with proven track record of building strong teams and maintaining high level of performance

Strong interpersonal skills as this position interacts with HNW clients, Senior bankers and leadership within the division

Knowledge of loan servicing including syndicated and participation transactions

Extremely strong organizational skills required for a large and complex lending portfolio

Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to Lending

Mentorship and development of staff
