Job Description
Ideal candidate has significant experience with AWS, GCP, and Python
Tech Stack:
· Our back end is written in Python using Flask
· Our front end is written with modern UI patterns and libraries like, JavaScript, React, and Angular
· Our infrastructure is hosted with AWS managed through IaC and
· We have a well-defined SDLC process driven by automation
What will you be doing:
Build and maintain the foundations for and security of our application engineering teams, including access & permission management.
Partner with the senior engineering team to define and apply standard methodologies and best practices.
Own, maintain, and improve the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline.
Create migration (and risk mitigation) plans; build and test changes, particularly using a proof-of-concept approach.
Command line experience with Linux, including writing scripts in bash and PowerShell.
Networking fundamentals.
AWS operations experience including: VPCs, ELBs, Route 53, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, EC2, Lambda, etc.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience in working in cloud infrastructure like – AWS, Azure or Google
5+ years of experience with caching like Redis or Memcached
Experience working with web framework like Flask or Django
Experience with monitoring tools – Datadog, Kibana
5+ years of experience with configuration management tools – Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack
Experience with automated incident response systems – Opsgenie, PagerDuty
Knowledge of containerization like – Docker and/or Kubernetes
3+ years of experience to modern CI/CD pipelines like – Jenkins, CircleCI, TeamCity
