Position Description:
CSG is seeking an IV&V Analyst to join our MO Workers Comp IV&V project team to provide testing expertise.
 

Project Name: MO Workers Comp IV&V project Brief Project Description Modernization of the Worker’s Comp System, using a hybrid Agile SDLC methodology and using Jira as the Application LifeCycle Management solution. The current project phases are Systems Integration Testing, Data Migration Conversion and User Acceptance Testing.

Responsibilities include:

Review and assess documented test plans and test case specifications and ensure adherence to the defined testing methodology and standards
Analyze test requirements through critical thinking and determine required test coverage
Monitor the execution of test cases to assess adequate testing of desired functionality developed
Evaluate, document, and report test results, trending, and defect status
Create and submit regular status reports on testing progress and performance trends (e.g., test case development, test case execution)
Assist with identifying testing risks and provide input to risk mitigation activities
Assist the IV&V Manager with analyzing the testing of application defects and enhancements
Participate in design, development, and testing meetings and activities, as needed, to perform assigned IV&V duties
Assess DDI Vendor WBS Schedules for consistency and accuracy
Maintain focus on client expectations during UAT by identifying, verifying, and communicating client requests and prioritizing work based upon client needs
Support the Project Manager with weekly and monthly reporting and presentation development, as needed
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager
 

Qualifications include:

Experience writing test scenarios and detailed test cases and scripts to be able to validate different combinations of business scenarios from user stories
Experience testing web applications for functional components, business rules, validations, etc.
Experience analyzing and reporting on testing trends, performance, and results in a hybrid/agile development life cycle.
Hands-on experience using Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps) to review test cases, document status and outcomes of test execution, and create and maintain defects is preferred
Should have a good understanding of defect life cycle to track and defects as applicable in the ALM tool
A demonstrated understanding of schedule management using tools such as MS Project
Good understanding of Workers Compensation business processes is a plus
Hands-on experience with all facets of the testing life cycle, including supporting UAT in the past and using a requirements traceability matrix to validate requirements coverage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Degree in Computer Software Engineering or similar field preferred
