Ad Tech Subject Matter Expert
The Linear AdTech SME will serve as the go to expert for all things related to linear advertising technologies with a focus on optimizing monetization strategies across traditional and digital linear TV platforms This role bridges the gap between business technology and operations ensuring seamless ad delivery targeting and measurement in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the internal expert on linear ad technologies including SCTE35 ad insertion SSAI and broadcast workflows
Product Strategy Roadmap: Define and execute the roadmap for linear ad tech solutions aligning with business goals and market trends
Cross functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering ad operations sales and marketing teams to deliver scalable and privacy compliant ad solutions
Monetization Optimization: Leverage data and analytics to improve ad targeting CPMs and user experience across linear channels
Compliance Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards eg VAST VMAP GDPR CCPA and maintain best practices in audience data handling
Innovation Trends: Monitor emerging technologies and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation in linear ad delivery and measurement
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in AdTech with a strong focus on linear TV advertising
Deep understanding of linear ad workflows SSAI SCTE35 and FAST Free Ad Supported Streaming TV platforms
Proven track record of launching and optimizing ad tech products
Strong analytical skills and experience with audience segmentation and data driven advertising
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
