Senior Systems Engineer – Hybrid Cloud / Windows / VMware / Azure Infrastructure

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer with deep expertise in Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Systems Administration, VMware Virtualization, and Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will lead enterprise infrastructure initiatives, design scalable hybrid-cloud solutions, and provide advanced technical leadership across on-premise and cloud platforms.
Mandatory Requirement: Strong hands-on experience in Active Directory Forest Administration is required.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable hybrid-cloud infrastructure solutions across on-premise and Azure environments.
Administer and support enterprise Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Forest Administration, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Servers.
Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM.
Oversee storage infrastructure including SAN/NAS systems and enterprise backup solutions.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python.
Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, and automation initiatives.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity planning (BCP) strategies are implemented and maintained.
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and act as a trusted technology advisor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
Maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and system-related issues.
Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within the infrastructure team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 6+ years of relevant infrastructure engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Windows System Administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
Mandatory hands-on experience in Active Directory Forest Administration.
Extensive experience with VMware, KVM, SAN/NAS storage, and backup systems.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid-cloud environments.
Expertise in DR/BCP planning, backup tools, and enterprise system documentation.
Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell and Python.
Solid understanding of networking concepts and ITSM processes.
Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery models.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Azure certifications or infrastructure-related certifications.
Experience with infrastructure automation and cloud governance.
Prior experience supporting large enterprise environments.
Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
