Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong Banking/Financial Services experience to support market risk and enterprise technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python development, system design, Agile methodologies, and experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
Collaborate with business users, quantitative analysts, and technology teams.
Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
Create architecture and design documentation for enterprise applications.
Ensure application reliability, security, and operational stability.
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, code quality, and architecture.
Support CI/CD implementation and application resiliency initiatives.
Required Skills
5+ years of professional Python development experience.
Strong experience working with Banking or Financial Services clients.
Exposure to Market Risk or Capital Markets environments.
Experience communicating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security practices.
Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and production support.
Knowledge of Cloud, AI/ML, or modern software engineering practices.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Athena ecosystem, SecDB, Quartz, or similar financial platforms.
Strong understanding of Market Risk data and analytics.
Experience working in enterprise-scale banking environments.
