Cisco Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Canonsburg, PA 15317 (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)—LOCAL

Visa: Any visa, no H1Bs, OPTs & CPTs

JOB Description:

Troubleshooting and recovering computer networks and systems outages
Installation, configuration, and administration of network
Monitoring and optimizing network performance
Creating and/or tuning Palo Alto Firewall changes
Reviewing and assessing the impact of network design changes prior to their implementation
Installing and configuring computer networks and systems
Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
Provide network administration and support
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience Required:

Cisco routers and switches – 5+ years
Creating and / or tuning Palo Alto firewall changes – 3+ years
Troubleshooting and recovering computer networks and system outages – 5+ years
Extensive knowledge of network administration including security
Monitoring and optimizing network performance – 5+ years
