“Senior Business Analyst / Data Analyst (Onshore)Experience 10-15 years

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead business discovery sessions and requirements workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, and product owners across multiple insurance domains.

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for enterprise data modernization initiatives.

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, Data Modelers, and Data Engineering teams.

• Analyze existing business processes, reports, KPIs, and data flows to identify opportunities for modernization and standardization.

• Define and document business rules, data definitions, business processes, and functional specifications

• Work closely with the Lead Data Modeler to identify business entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, and business terminology across enterprise domains.

• Validate that enterprise data models accurately represent business processes and reporting requirements.

• Perform fit-gap analysis between the existing EDW solution and target-state enterprise data architecture.

• Review and validate source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, and business calculations with business stakeholders.

• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation to support Agile delivery.

• Support data validation, business acceptance testing (BAT/UAT), and sign-off activities.

• Assist in developing business glossary, KPI definitions, metadata documentation, and semantic layer specifications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable and reusable enterprise data solutions.Mandatory Skills Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain knowledge, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Workshop Facilitation, Process Modeling, SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, Enterprise Reporting, User Story creation, Acceptance Criteria definition, Strong documentation skills, Stakeholder Management.”
