Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer / Lead Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, microservices, Oracle databases, AWS, and cloud-native technologies.

Required Skills
7–12 years of software engineering experience with strong Java backend development.
Strong hands-on experience with Core Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
Strong experience designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL and relational database management.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka or Spring Batch.
Strong understanding of microservices design patterns, API gateways, and distributed systems.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with TDD, JUnit, and Mockito.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and API Gateway.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, Maven, and Gradle.
Scripting experience using Python or Unix/Linux.
Exposure to Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM workflows, and AI technologies.
Basic knowledge of React.js or Angular for collaboration with frontend teams.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
Build high-throughput and fault-tolerant microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL scripts and database queries.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services.
Work with Kafka, caching, messaging, and distributed components.
Collaborate with DevOps teams on Docker/Kubernetes deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement automated unit and integration testing.
Participate in cloud-native development and AWS deployments.
Collaborate with product managers, QA, frontend engineers, and other technical teams.
Explore and integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities into backend solutions.
