Technical Skills
Proficiency in Power BI: Dashboard creation, data visualization, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
SQL Expertise: Writing optimized queries for data extraction from Snowflake.
Experience in data modeling: Star schema, snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
Integration with Snowflake:
Setting up connections between Power BI and Snowflake.
Using Direct Query and Import Mode with Snowflake.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT Processes: Data preparation, transformation, and data loading into Snowflake.
Understanding of Snowflake’s features: Virtual warehouses, time travel, data sharing, and query optimization.
Familiarity with scripting languages like Python (optional but valuable).
Performance tuning: Optimizing reports and dashboards for speed and usability.
Proficiency in Power On (specific to Power On for Planning or reporting needs).
Integration with Snowflake:
Configuring and managing Snowflake connectors within Power On.
Designing advanced planning and forecasting models leveraging Snowflake data.
Strong understanding of financial and operational planning workflows.
Expertise in SQL to manipulate Snowflake data for Power On solutions.
Knowledge of scripting languages like VBA or Python for automation in Power On.
