Job Title: QA Engineer / Senior QA Analyst (8+ Years)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer / Senior QA Analyst with 8 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in manual testing, test case preparation, defect tracking, and working closely with developers and business teams to ensure high-quality deliveries.
Only local candidates from Virginia will be considered
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, smoke)
Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps
Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to validate fixes
Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and QA status reporting
Ensure complete test coverage and quality for each release
Support UAT and production validation as required
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing
Strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC
Experience in Manual Testing
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum
Basic SQL knowledge for backend validation (preferred)
Good communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
Automation exposure (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright)
API testing experience (Postman)
Banking / Healthcare / Government domain experience
