Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Microservices Developer with AWS expertise to support the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications. The candidate will work closely with technical architects, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Java Application Development (Java 8, 11, and 17)
Strong experience with Spring Boot including:
ORM
Integration
Batch
Services
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Experience with SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON, and XML
Hands-on experience developing Spring Boot Microservices
Experience with AWS services including:
ECS
Serverless
ElastiCache
Route 53
ALB
VPC
EC2
Security Groups
Experience with JPA/Hibernate
Experience with GitHub and source control management
Experience with Maven
Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
Experience with at least one RDBMS and SQL:
PostgreSQL
Oracle
Sybase
SQL Server
Experience working in Agile/Iterative development environments
Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with tools such as:
PGAdmin
Insomnia
GitHub GUI
Responsibilities
Work closely with technical architects, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to deliver application solutions.
Develop and maintain Java-based microservices and APIs.
Participate in Agile development activities and SDLC processes.
Build, test, and deploy applications using modern development practices.
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues independently.
Collaborate effectively within a supportive and transparent team environment.
