Position: Data Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT – Onsite – Locals Only
Contract: 6 – 12 Months

Rate: $60/hr on C2C

Responsibilities:
As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building and configuring ETL applications on Databricks platform using PySpark/Python programming languages.
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Good hands-on experience in PySpark and/or Python programming is required.
Intermediate level of proficiency in Databricks Platform is recommended.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform knowledge with experience on core services like EC2, S3, Lambda Functions, etc. is preferred.
Additionally, prior ETL Development experience using any other ETL tools and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts clarity is also a must have skill
Develop and implement data processing solutions using PySpark.
Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines.
Utilize Databricks Platform for data analysis and processing.
Design and implement ETL processes for data integration
Contribute to the development of data warehousing solutions
