Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing SaaS web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
Architect and maintain multi-tenant SaaS platforms, ensuring availability, data isolation, and compliance with security standards.
Develop and maintain cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability for large-scale SaaS deployments.
Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers across the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, DevOps, and QA to ensure timely delivery of SaaS features and platform enhancements.
Provide code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to clean code principles and agile methodologies.
Drive technical discussions, make architectural decisions, and contribute to long-term SaaS platform strategy and product roadmap.
Proactively identify and resolve technical risks, multi-tenant performance bottlenecks, and production issues in a SaaS environment.
Ensure proper CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing practices are in place for continuous delivery and reliability of the SaaS platform.
Required Skills:
Web Application & SaaS Development:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
Strong understanding of server-side languages like Node.js and Python.
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, microservices, and SaaS-based architectures.
Understanding of multi-tenant application design, subscription management, and user onboarding flows.
DevOps & Cloud Operations:
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience managing SaaS deployments and version rollouts across multiple environments.
Good to have knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Cloud Technologies:
Experience with cloud-native SaaS deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of cloud services including compute, storage, and networking.
Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring, scaling, and billing in SaaS environments.
Desired Skills:
Database Management:
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Exposure to data partitioning and performance tuning for multi-tenant SaaS systems.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools like Cypress, Jest, or Mocha.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
Proven experience designing, developing, and scaling SaaS products or platforms.
Strong understanding of SaaS delivery models, subscription billing, and customer lifecycle management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
