Sr Data Architect – Snowflake

Location: Boston or Washington DC area

Job Description:

12+ years as a Snowflake Architect with expertise in Coalesce, HVR, and Python.
Strong in Data Platform Design, Data Modeling & ELT pipelines.
Hands-on with Snowflake Cortex AI, GenAI & Agentic AI solutions.
Drives POC-led innovation, automation & productivity gains.
Expertise in Data Governance, Catalog, and scalable architectures.
Design and implement data migration workflows from SQL-based systems to Snowflake using HVR Replicate Tool (Fivetran HVR).
Hands-on experience with Coalesce to design, build, and manage ETL/ELT data pipelines on Snowflake.
Experience using Claude Code (Anthropic), OpenAI Codex, or Cursor (AI-native IDE) for code generation and debugging.
Strong understanding of modular data transformations, pipeline orchestration, and automated deployment in Coalesce.
Expertise in Snowflake – data modelling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing complex stored Procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts.
Must have expertise in AWS Platform as a Service.
Implement best practices for data modeling and querying to monitor and optimize the performance, storage, and cost of Snowflake environments.
Create and maintain documentation for architecture designs, data models, and operational procedures.
Identify and resolve issues related to Snowflake performance, security, and data integrity.
Independently troubleshoot the overall health and issues of the data platform.
