We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support the development of a next-generation

online banking platform within a highly innovative, AI-assisted engineering environment. This

role will partner closely with product owners, designers, developers, and QA teams to help

drive quality, automation, and scalable testing practices across modern web and mobile

applications.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in QA automation, modern frontend application

testing, and AI-assisted testing workflows within fast-paced Agile environments. This is a hands

on technical role focused on improving software quality through automation, tooling, and

continuous testing practices.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain automated testing strategies for web and mobile applications

• Validate AI-generated test cases, automation scripts, and testing outputs

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing coverage, quality processes, and

release confidence

• Lead defect management, testing coordination, and end-to-end validation activities

• Support CI/CD-integrated testing workflows within cloud-native and containerized

environments

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work closely with distributed engineering teams

• Guide and coordinate offshore testing resources when needed

• Continuously evaluate and implement modern testing tools, frameworks, and automation

approaches

 

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with QA automation and modern testing frameworks

• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Storybook, Vitest, or similar automation frameworks

• Experience testing applications built with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and

TailwindCSS

• Experience with REST APIs, web services, and end-to-end integration testing

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment testing practices

• Experience testing applications deployed in cloud-native or containerized environments such

as Kubernetes

• Experience with mobile testing tools and frameworks including Expo, Maestro, and Deque

• Experience testing React Native and Next.js applications

• Experience working with AI-assisted development and testing tools such as Cursor

• Strong understanding of responsive web and mobile application testing

• Familiarity with database validation and synthetic test data management

 

Preferred Experience

• Digital banking, online banking, fintech, or financial services experience

• Performance testing and instrumentation experience

• Experience in highly automated Agile engineering organizations

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to independently drive testing

 

initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or related field, or equivalent

professional experience

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Passion for automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering environments
