ETL Talend Developer

Job description:

Client is looking to hire ETL Talend Developer to join our data management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge in Talend’s data integration tools and be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes that move and transform data according to business requirements.

Responsibilities:

·         8 or more years of experience using Talend for ETL/Data Integration/Data Warehousing required

·         5 or more years of experience in data warehousing and analytics environments required

·         5 or more years of experience with database and SQL performance tuning required

·         3 or more years of experience working in a Linux environment required

·         Job Scheduling experience (TWS, Autosys, Control-m etc) preferred

·         Financial industry knowledge in banking, servicing, lending, risk management, regulatory reporting/modeling preferred

·         Large volume data architecture experience is a plus

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

·         Proven experience as an ETL developer with strong experience in Talend.

·         Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.

·         Proficiency in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.

·         Knowledge of Java and related technologies for integration purposes.

·         Experience with source control tools such as Git.

·         Understanding of data integration best practices.

·         Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
