Location: Alpharetta, GA

Duration Long Term contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

•             BAU support of the application including investigation of business logic in PL/SQL. 

•             Raise release tickets and coordinate various teams for database patches on weekend.

•             Migration of the application to AWS/RDS.

•             Perform database performance tuning and monitoring.

•             Take care of the database code/design and implementation.

•             Interface with production DBA, SA teams for technical support.

•             Coordinate with PM team for Geneos monitoring and Autosys scripts and scheduling setup.

•             Responsible for database activities including data copy, database security, database troubleshooting.

•             Very strong in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

•             Very Strong in DBA activities including Oracle performance tuning and database trouble shooting.

•             Good Knowledge in Linux and experience creating shell scripts.

•             Experience in AWS/RDS is a plus.

•             Experience in creating Jules build for database deployment is a plus.
