Job Title: Sr. L3 Support Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior L3 Support Engineer to support and maintain complex eCommerce applications. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of backend systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS), microservices, and production support aligned with SRE principles. This is a client-facing, high-impact role requiring strong troubleshooting skills, proactive incident management, and coordination with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot complex application and system issues.
Handle end-to-end support for eCommerce subsystems including Storefront, OMS, Core Commerce, Post Purchase, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java/J2EE and Microservices in an event-driven architecture.
Work on system integrations with Search frameworks, Payment gateways, PLM, Loyalty systems, Recommendation engines, etc.
Build and expose RESTful APIs; integrate with headless applications.
Manage and optimize cloud deployments (preferably AWS) including Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.
Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure 24×7 support coverage.
Participate in and lead incident response (P1), RCA discussions, and customer briefings.
Define and monitor SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs based on application health and service requirements.
Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and work with ITSM tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, or BMC Remedy.
Set up and use monitoring/alerting tools such as New Relic, PagerDuty, Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, etc.
