Job Position: PSA Engineer
Location: Bellevue, WA (Remote)
Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension
Role Description:

Essential Skills:

Desirable Skills:
Direct experience installing, maintaining or supporting ADMS products including DMS Applications, DNAF, OMS, Storm Assist and DER.
Design, implement, and optimize ADMS solutions to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure ADMS solutions are aligned with organizational goals and requirements.
Continuously evaluate and enhance ADMS capabilities, ensuring high availability and performance.
Lead the deployment of new ADMS systems and upgrades to enhance system functionality and performance.
Oversee the planning, execution, and testing of ADMS deployments and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure smooth and timely transition to upgraded versions, following best practices and industry standards.
Should have experience with development of the ADMS product.
Familiarity with User Interface, SCADA and Modeling tools.
Knowledge of both Transmission and Distribution electrical grids.
Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, Jasper Report and Cassandra.
Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, IP addressing, routing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, firewalls & switches as it applies to isolating and resolving reported issues in these areas.
Ability to work independently with minimum direction
Knowledge of NERC CIP Standards.

Positive attitude when dealing with customers and co-workers in stressful situations.
Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Familiarity with remote monitoring and diagnostics solutions and concepts

Core Responsibilities
Configure Distribution Management System (DMS) functions: FLISR, VVO, Load Shedding, OMS.
Integrate DERMS modules for forecasting, optimization, and dispatch.
Work with utility SCADA teams for point mapping, RTU/IED validation, and tagging.
Create sequence-of-operations and switching plans; simulate contingencies.
Perform system tuning for performance and latency.
Participate in FAT/SAT, regression, and acceptance testing.
Document configuration baselines, change logs, and test evidence.
Critical Skills
Power-system operation and control
GE ADMS / DERMS architecture (CIM model, adapters, EMS bus)
SCADA/RTU communication (IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus)
SQL / Python scripting for configuration validation
Tools: GE Grid Workbench, PowerOn Fusion, GridOS Configurator
Network analysis tools (CYME, PSSE, ETAP)
Familiarity with Outage Management System (OMS) and OMS workflow
Preferred Background
5–12 yrs in DMS/SCADA/DERMS integration for utilities
Electrical Engg. / Power Systems graduate
Prior experience with GE, ABB Network Manager, or Siemens Spectrum Power
Cross-Functional & Soft Skills
Familiarity with GE GridOS, ADMS, DERMS, EMS, Smallworld lifecycle and DevOps tools
Knowledge of CIM standards, IEC 61850, IEC 61970/61968
Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, ServiceNow
Strong documentation and communication for customer interaction
Understanding of utility domain, OT/IT integration, cybersecurity, and change control
Agile / DevOps project delivery experience preferred
