Job Title: Financial Scrum Master
Duration: 6+ months (will go longer)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite 4 days/week) Hybrid
Citizen, GC

Must Haves:
•    They need to have a technical background
•    Need experience working in a payment’s ecosystem (Zelle, ACH, wires, EPP, etc.)
•    understand full SDLC
•    understanding of integrations and be able to connect dots – understand APIs, how they talk to the platform, dependencies, impacts that they have etc.
•    Excellent leadership skills but also able to get into details, not just facilitate meetings.
•    They are not very mature in agile, so they will play a key role in driving agile scrum framework.
•    Understand and lead change management process
Job Description:
•    Facilitate standard systems engineering product lifecycle or equivalent software development lifecycle processes.
•    Assist agile teams in adopting agile methodology, and practices used for day-to-day activities.
•    Assist and collaborate with Product Owner to refine, prioritize, and align backlog with the overall product vision.
•    Facilitate discussions around blockers, working to resolve conflicts and find alternate solutions to challenges.
•    Create environment that promotes collaboration, open dialogue, and effective solutions.
•    Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, and Retrospectives.
•    Coach teams on backlog refinement, prioritization, and planning sprints.
•    Provide visibility and transparency through regular communication and sprint reports.
•    Utilize Sprint Burn-Down charts, predictability, and team velocity trends as feedback loop to drive improvements.

Basic Qualifications:
•    8+ years of Scrum Master experience including Scrum Certification
•    5+ years in banking domain, specifically payments domain
•    Extensive experience and knowledge of API’s
•    Ability to thrive under high pressure/stress environments
•    Strong communication, facilitation capabilities, humble, empathetic and team oriented.
•    Experience developing, tracking, and reporting quality metrics to improve ongoing operations.
•    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among team members, stakeholders, and partners.
