Job: Big Data/Machine Learning Engineer – Sr
Interview: 1 hour interview to gauge technical background and team fit
Contract period: 12/31/2025 with potential for extension and conversion
Location: Hybrid in Richmond, VA preferred, NY if necessary

Experience Requirements
3+ years with app dev, python, sql
Capital One experience required (Before Jan 2025)
General Ledger, Workday, Peoplesoft, ERP migration experience preferred
Building, testing, deploying data metrics to support standardization
Key skills for Data Engineering:
Python, Pyspark, Strong SQL, Unit testing/validation, EMR, Hadoop, Quicksight, Debugging, problem solving
AWS: Basic DevOps experience resolving vulnerabilities

Assessing impact of this project to commercial data ecosystem
Commercial Bank line of business, DDMS
