Communications Lead

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create a tailored communication plan that aligns with the project objectives, timeline, and stakeholders’ needs.
Define key messages, communication goals, and success metrics.
Identify internal and external stakeholders who are impacted by or involved in the project.
Develop a stakeholder engagement plan to address their concerns and information needs.
Serve as a bridge between stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
Write and edit content such as project updates, FAQs, talking points, presentations, and newsletters.
Develop visuals (or work with designers) like infographics, videos, or other materials to enhance communication impact.
Maintain and update content repositories, ensuring materials are current and accessible.
Identify the most effective channels for communication (e.g., intranet, email, meetings, dashboards).
Oversee the deployment of communication campaigns across those channels.
Ensure messages are delivered on time and through the appropriate medium.
Work closely with project managers, change management leads, and leadership to understand key milestones, risks, and updates.
Ensure communication efforts align with the overall project schedule and deliverables.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Four (4) years of experience as a Communications Lead.
Four (4) years of experience as a Communications Lead on a large-scale IT system integration project with a contract value over $5,000,000.
Four (4) years of experience providing supervision and direction to staff.
