Role Senior Project Manager

Duration: 6+ month

Location: Remote (Candidates local to Raleigh, NC preferred)

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

Key Requirements:

PMP Certification required
7+ years of customer-facing project management experience
Experience managing SAS projects (PMO), preferably in Medicaid/Healthcare
Strong experience with state and local government projects
Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project and Jira
Experience with project documentation (Charters, RACI, Design documents)
Exceptional facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Job Summary:

The SAS Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of state project management, including planning, budgeting, coordination, execution, and completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Fiscal oversight, budget management, invoicing, and subcontractor expense management
Project planning, execution, and monitoring against KPIs
Risk assessment, issue escalation, and dependency management
Coordination and facilitation of stakeholder meetings
Development and maintenance of accurate project plans, timelines, and reporting
Resource forecasting and management, ensuring alignment of project tasks with team skillsets
Ensure adherence to quality assurance, testing, and change management procedures
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

Preferred Experience:

Local candidates (Raleigh, NC area)
Medicaid/Healthcare project management experience
Knowledge of SAS internal processes

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Accounting, or related field preferred
Equivalent experience may be considered
