Role: Business System Analyst

Location: San Francisco, CA & San Jose, CA.

Duration: Contract

Job Summary:

·      We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFDC Commerce) as a primary skill and experience with Zuora or other billing systems is required

·      The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements gathering, user journey mapping, use case development, test script writing, QA testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This role requires collaboration with Legal, Sales Operations, Finance, Tax, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of business processes and systems.

·      The BSA must be comfortable working in an Agile Scrum environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.

·      The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver, willing to learn new technologies as the program evolves and contribute to the success of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

·      SFDC Commerce & Billing Expertise

·      Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce Commerce Cloud and billing platforms such as Zuora or other billing systems.

·      Work closely with stakeholders to align system capabilities with business needs.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

·      Gather and document business and technical requirements from cross-functional teams.

·      Develop user journey stories, use cases, and process flows to drive system enhancements.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

·      Develop and execute test scripts to ensure system functionality meets business requirements.

·      Conduct QA testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts with stakeholders.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

·      Partner with Legal, Sales Operations, Finance, Tax, and IT to ensure compliance and efficiency in system implementations.

·      Facilitate discussions and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Agile & Scrum Participation:

·      Work in an Agile Scrum team, actively participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

·      Collaborate with developers and system architects to refine user stories and solutions.

·      Continuous Learning & Hands-On Execution

·      Stay up to date with evolving technologies in SFDC Commerce, billing systems, and enterprise applications.

·      Be hands-on when necessary, supporting troubleshooting and system enhancements.

Mandatory Skill sets Required:

·      3-5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or similar role.

·      Strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFDC Commerce) required.

·      Experience with Zuora or other billing platforms is Mandatory.

·      Proficiency in writing requirements, user journey stories, test scripts, and conducting QA/UAT testing.

·      Experience working with Legal, Sales Ops, Finance, Tax, and IT teams.

·      Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies, including participation in stand [1] ups and sprint planning.

·      Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

·      Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs.

·      Familiarity with integration tools and APIs connecting SFDC with billing systems.

·      SFDC Commerce certifications are a plus.
