Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire Insurance Now to work closely with our client’s business counterparts. You will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into workable solutions, coordinating user acceptance testing, and managing scope and risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with client business counterparts to understand and document requirements, define test cases, and establish expected outcomes.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, clarify user-reported issues, and identify any changes to scope, obtaining user sign-off as required.
Identify and communicate risks and issues, provide mitigation strategies, and escalate potential delays, scope creep, and quality concerns.
Translate business needs into detailed stories that align with the standards of Guidewire InsuranceNow while satisfying business requirements.
Propose solutions that meet both business needs and product standards.
Gain in-depth knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceNow to bridge business requirements with technical implementation.
Maintain clear communication and foster strong collaboration within teams.
Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Requirements:
Experience defining coverages at Line, Location, and Risk levels.
Strong understanding of InsuranceNow Approval Workflow.
Experience with Task and Task Group configurations.
Knowledge of InsuranceNow Claims Workflow, Billing functions, and available configurations.
Familiarity with InsuranceNow Daily and Monthly jobs.
Experience setting up Commercial Insurance products is a plus.
Knowledge of ExcelRater is a plus.
Strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
Excellent functional knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceNow and its design capabilities.
Experience developing user stories and collaborating with business teams in an Agile environment.
Strong communication, presentation, flowcharting, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Insurance domain knowledge with a focus on Property & Casualty Insurance.
Experience working on Agile projects.
