Magna International is seeking a highly skilled SAP Enable Now (SEN) Infrastructure Expert to lead the end-to-end on-premise installation and configuration of our Enable Now environment. This is a technical, hands-on role focused on system architecture, server-side installation, and enterprise integration.
The successful candidate will take a clean Virtual Machine and deliver a fully optimized, production-ready system.
Key Responsibilities
System Installation: Perform full installation of SAP Enable Now components on a provided Windows/Linux VM.
Middleware Management: Deploy and configure required software stacks, including Apache Tomcat and Java (JDK/JRE), ensuring version compatibility with the SEN release.
Database Integration: Configure and secure the connection to the backend database (HANA, SQL Server, or Oracle).
Identity & Access: Set up Active Directory (AD/LDAP) integration or SSO (SAML) for seamless user authentication and provisioning.
Production Readiness: Perform system tuning, validate port configurations, and ensure the Manager, Producer, and Instant Producer components are fully functional.
Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ad-hoc, “on-tap” technical support for unforeseen stability or configuration issues following the initial deployment.
Technical Requirements
Subject Matter Expertise: Proven track record of 2+ successful On-Premise SAP Enable Now deployments.
Infrastructure Skills: Deep understanding of Tomcat web servers, SSL certificate implementation, and Java environments.
Integration Knowledge: Expert-level experience linking SAP Enable Now with enterprise Active Directory and Database environments.
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity or permission issues within a corporate global IT landscape (Magna IT standards).
Project Scope & Deliverables
Validated, functional SAP Enable Now environment.
Documentation of the installation and configuration settings.
Handover session with the Magna IT server team.
Retainer of ad-hoc support hours for post-launch stability.
