#JobDescription:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Development Team Lead to provide organizational leadership and operational expertise to a dynamic digital development team. This role partners closely with senior digital leadership, technology leads, and project management teams to ensure operational excellence, efficient resource utilization, and high-quality deliverables.

The ideal candidate will lead full-stack, front-end, and back-end developers while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

#KeyResponsibilities:

Leadership

Manage full-stack, front-end, and back-end developers
Serve as first point of escalation for the Digital Development team
Ensure quality, accuracy, efficiency, and consistency of deliverables
Partner with QA to ensure processes and standards are followed
Provide technical and operational guidance
Foster a positive, professional, and growth-oriented team culture
Operations

Assign projects based on availability, workload, and skillsets
Monitor utilization and anticipate production obstacles
Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of quality solutions
Troubleshoot technical, timing, and resource challenges
Champion best practices, workflows, and compliance standards
Participate in client intake meetings and provide subject-matter expertise
Support configuration and administration of application and database servers
Administer development tools such as Jira and GitHub
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies
Staff Management & Resourcing

Coach, mentor, and develop team members
Address performance concerns and provide constructive feedback
Support onboarding and training initiatives
Promote strong team dynamics and collaboration
#RequiredSkills:

Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Front-end and back-end development expertise (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, server-side architecture)
Experience with AWS, Cloud Foundry, SharePoint Online, Office 365
Familiarity with WordPress, Git, Jira, Google Analytics
Experience supporting Windows and Mac platforms
Strong crisis management and decision-making skills
Ability to balance technical excellence with design sensibilities
#ExperienceRequirements:

5+ years as a digital team leader (3+ years managing developers directly)
5+ years in digital development
3+ years in digital project management
Agency experience preferred
